This International Women’s Day, we're turning up the dial on action at Murad! The theme this year is Accelerate Action – and when it comes to driving real, meaningful change in the beauty industry, there’s no time to waste.

For too long, beauty filters, unrealistic standards, and pressure to drastically alter our appearance have dominated what it means to be 'beautiful.' But the tide is turning – and we're here to accelerate that momentum.

At Murad, we champion real, unretouched results for real skin confidence. As Dr. Murad, MD, says, “Be imperfect, live longer.” Those little lines, freckles, scars, and pores – they’re not imperfections. They’re the marks of a life well-lived. They tell stories. They show resilience. They make us… us!

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we gathered our team for an intimate photo shoot in our Sydney office – no retouching, no filters, just real skin in all its beautiful, unique glory. Fine lines, dimples, freckles, stretch marks – the features we've been conditioned to hide or correct were front and centre.

 

The result? Stunning, powerful images that capture the vulnerability, strength, and softness of women. Every face, every mark, every texture tells a story – not of imperfection, but of individuality.

By sharing these images, we want to inspire others to own their real skin – to see the beauty in what makes them different and to know they’re not alone in their insecurities. The more we normalise what’s real, the more we accelerate the movement towards skin confidence.
